Format is based on the IMF Government Finance Statistics Manual (GFSM 1986).Figures prior to 2022 were compiled using annual data published by the Ministry of Finance and Planning in the Government Finance Statistics publication. Figures from 2022 to 2026 are compiled from Maldives National Budget tables. The dataset will be updated in accordance with the IMF Government Finance Statistics Manual 2014 once updated data is received from the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
